THE PROCESS

1st May 2023 to 31st July 2023
The first step in the process of participating in the Africa Interior Design Week is to respond to the call for submissions. The call for submissions outlines the categories for each award, the submission guidelines, and the deadlines for each award.

The Africa Interior Design Week periodically issues a call for submissions for its project awards, student competition, and concept awards. The call for submissions invites designers, architects, students, and other industry professionals to submit their work for consideration and recognition at the event.

The call for submissions typically outlines the criteria for entry, the categories for each award, and the submission guidelines and deadlines. It may also include information on the judging process, the award ceremony, and any additional opportunities for participants, such as networking events and exhibitions.

Participating in the call for submissions provides designers and industry professionals with an opportunity to showcase their work, gain exposure and recognition for their contributions to the industry, and potentially attract new clients or collaborators. It also allows them to connect with other professionals in the field and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in interior design.

For students, participating in the call for submissions can be a valuable learning experience and provide a platform for applying their academic knowledge and skills to real-world challenges. Winning an award can also be a significant achievement, providing recognition and potential opportunities for future education or employment.
